Traditions, this is something that has been part of my family for a while now. My mother is 100% Italian along with her relatives. As Italians we have a huge pasta dinner every Sunday. Name an Italian food we got it here. The whole family would come to our house and we would have a four course meal. There is nothing better than waking up on a Sunday and smelling the fresh sauce for the pasta.
What is so important about this tradition? Well the main key point is that it keeps our family close and together. Most people don’t get to see there aunts and uncles for months on some times. I am lucky enough to get to see them every week. It is truly a blessing and I would not trade it for anything else. Italians have a good way of maintaining the true meaning of family. So we don’t get to see each other during the quarentine so what we have been doing is hosting huge zoom video chat with our whole family! It is truly awesome, and some times annoying. But it keeps us close together during this awful time!
