This weeks blog post I will be speaking about when are we getting back to the normal life? I’m sure everyone is sick of this; staying at home, doing work all day, reading books. You know stuff you would never do if a pandemic wasn’t happening.
The Corona virus is taking such a big toll on America. We are over a million cases right now this is more than any other country, and sad to say the death toll is now up to 65 thousand. This is a heartbreaking fact. Can you imagine 65,000 dead people, and all those sad family’s? This was so unexpected… In reality this happened in only a couple months. I have done extensive research on this question I have scrolled through many interviews with scientists, journalists, etc and I have not found an exact date to this question. No one has an exact answer it is up to the people to social distance and be careful!

How soon will life go back to normal after this crisis? According to https://www.talktomira.com/post/when-will-coronavirus-peak-and-end-social-distancing
“Forecasting when the Corona vrius outbreak will end is difficult. First because “end” as a definition is not clearly defined. Here, we will use the scientific definition – when the daily death rate drops below 0.3 per million – as the indicator of the end of this pandemic in individual state.
In New York, the study suggests the peak will start on April 9 and last until May 1 – May 15. This means, on average, social distancing and self-quarantine will last for a month from peak date.” So after we reach the peak date we must wait at least one month, while continuing to disinfect, and social distancing to consider reopening!

This will be difficult people but we must continue to engage in social distancing! We can do it.
Last off I wanted to share something semi positive at the end of my blog. A journalist from the well known Chicago booth said that “My prediction, reading the research that we have in psychology, is that people are going to get back to hugging and spending time together and shopping in supermarkets much faster than they anticipate. Once the crisis is over, our human nature is going to bring us back together.” We need to maintain a positive outlook during this pandemic don’t forget who you are at the end of the day! Everything will fall back into place. Keep your heads up!
Thank you for joining me this week. Stay tuned till next week we will be diving more in depth in some of these common questions about the pandemic! Stay safe and always wash your hands:)
